Central University of Himachal Pradesh has huge potential in Life Sciences. There is diversity of life, living organism, diversity of species and genetic diversity in various habitats of Himachal Pradesh. Research and Teaching in the field of Inventorization of Species, collection of genetic information and Bioinformatics will be carried out.
