Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The MBA Programme of Studies offered is a Four Semester Full Time Programme. The Student intake is 90, which is operational. The students are admitted on the basis of merit in the composite score calculated on the basis of academic record, Further Education Admission Test (FEAT), Group Discussion (GD) /Personal Interview (PI). The University conducts an aptitude based All India Common Entrance Examination (FEAT), which leads to a heterogeneous selection completely based on the individual student’s merit and performance in the rigorous test.
The interdisciplinary approach enables students to create their own basket of courses through choice from different Groups. The students have to pursue:
- 40% courses School Wide
- 30% courses University Wide
- 30% courses from Department of Accounting & Finance/Marketing and Supply Chain Management/Department of HRM & OB / Centre for Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation
Students’ are required to accumulate 80 PG credits to obtain MBA degree. A student admitted to PG programme in Management is conferred:
- Advanced Diploma in Management (if a student opts out after successful completion of 2 semesters with 40 PG credits)
- MBA (on completion of 4 semesters with 80 PG credits).
Thus, the focus is on in-depth learning driven by intrinsic curiosity and mastery of the subject by balancing the taught content with independently self-directed learning.
